My credo
A legend to the old man, a hero to the child...
After owning two first gen expys i totally hate everything theyve done to them since 03....

But today i seen a green tremor...didnt know they had a tremor edition of it. Sat higher, had bigger tires and was dark green....looked pretty good

Yep, Tremer all the things!

Yep... plan on seeing a Tremor model Escape (pronounced Ess-cop-eh) soon. But with a ridiculous sound system instead of suspension mods just to throw you off.

Tremor everything!

I think its sad we need to have special editions nowadays to get trucks and SUVs that sit up like they should

It is still a IRS school bus. Expedition Tremor starts at $82k...

Bronco Sport killed the Escape... but they make a Bronco Sport Badlands for those that want to look tough.

That's what the Tremor was supposed to be. Started life as an audio upgrade package on the Ranger, not a suspension upgrade package. Never made sense to me for them to bring it back as an offroad package, they already had perfectly good name options with history available for that.

Sorry. I keep reading the thread title "Ford Traumatized the Expedition."

I've owned two Ford Expeditions, and they are definitely one of my favorite Fords. One with some improved off-road capability would be awesome. The only reason I don't have one anymore is because someone tried to park their van in the back of my Expedition while I was sitting at a traffic light.

I like the Expedition, especially with the 7.3 and dually rear. Not sure if thst was custom or not, but it was a big ass truck! Just about big enough to play Foosball in.

That was the Super Duty based Excursion...

Currently you can get any engine you want in an Expedition as long as you want a 3.5 Ecoboost.

Before that it was the 3v 5.4 in all its glory. First gens had 2v 4.6 and 5.4.

Wow, I don't see that engine hitting 200k, not in a vehicle that size.

They have been in there for over 10 years and seem to be doing fine. Expedition is based on the F-150, those have had the Ecoboost since 2011. Its pretty well proven itself by now.

It is a low bar but they are doing better than the 3v 5.4 did. :icon_rofl:

I would have loved to see the 2.7 as an option in the expy.
