after flaring did you use a an fiting or like a hose clamp?
I shot some video today, I’ll get it posted up when o get a chance to go through and deal with it.

yeah I was just wondering what this picture was about, since I saw a fitting on it and wondered how it connected to the rest of the plumbing. if it connected directly to the braided lines stuff like that

That was brake line in that pic. Video I shot yesterday hopefully explains it somewhat. Where I joined the hard line to the braided I did a tube nut, 37* single flare (brake lines use a 45* double flare or bubble flare), then a union and the braided uses standard -6AN fittings with a 37* seat.

When I did the fuel lines in my Choptop I used a different fitting on the hard line that used a compression connection on the hard line end instead of a tube nut and flare. I sort of did a little detail on working with AN in my video on fuel lines for the Choptop.
