I am trying to perform TSB 03-22-10 on my 2002 Ford Ranger Edge 4.0L 4WD 5R55E transmission build date 09/27/2001. The transmission has a blown upper separator plate gasket in the reverse servo area. I have ordered the Ford 3L5Z-7M203-JA pressure relief valve assembly. I need the part number for the upgraded separator plate with bonded gaskets. I thought the TSB stated that I need part number 1L5Z-7Z490-CA, but a couple of parts suppliers websites I have checked are stating that this is not the correct part number for my vehicle. Where can I get confirmation before I buy this part for my truck. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

Thank-you for the help, just wanted to confirm the part number is correct.
I paid to be a supporting member, how soon will that show up? Thanks.

Hey where did you happen to buy the pressure relief valve 3L5Z-7M203-JA? I couldn't find it anywhere in stock

I found it on ebay. It was priced at $69, but seller must have wanted to get rid of it and sent me an offer for $34.95.

It says discontinued on the page unfortunately. I think it might be discontinued everywhere, I'm gonna get a sonnax zip kit and hope for the best haha
Good luck, hope you get the transmission fixed.

krucksly: This one in the link below ends in JB instead of JA. Would JB be a newer revision of JA?

I realize it is a 2001 number and not a 2003 like the number you are looking for, so maybe??? Their lousy drawing looks the same as the other lousy drawing of the part.
