And there’s a pile of parts.

Very expedient with the mods, whooooo-eeeee!

I’m not worried about the crash bars anymore.

Man that looks good. How do they compare in price to the Coastal bumpers? They look very similar. I've been banging around the idea. The winch tray has kinda hurt my approach angle. Oh did you do the rear? Is it just bolt on? I know the Coastals require you to cut a lot of the rear bed up.

It looks like Coastal only sells weld it yourself bumper kits. That already makes them cheaper, not including freight costs. These cost just shy of $3k with shipping…. Full welded and powder coated.

The rear was mostly bolt on, (you have to cut a few brackets off the factory hitch and reuse it) with no cutting of the body. I installed that the day I got them.

Looks great!

Taking those crash bars off with the bumper still on is a real mother!

It looked like it would be… I don’t think Ford wants you to remove them for some reason.

I had some time today so I figured I’d get a little more done on the truck.

The new front bumper has spots to mount rock lights (or block off plates.) in front of the tires, shining down and out. It’s almost impossible to see in this pic… but trust me, it’s there.

I would have put them in when I installed the bumper, but I had to cut some aluminum plates and make adapters. The hole spacing was about 1” different from the lights from my kit to the recommended lights. It all worked out perfect… the lights are recessed up into the bumper by about 1/4”.

Here’s a few pics of the lights tonight.

Prinsu finally got back to me about the light in the handle… they’re shipping me a replacement. It took them a little bit to respond, but they didn’t hesitate to make good on the warranty. I’m ok with a few days delay.

The replacement light handle for my roof rack was delivered today. I tested it with a Milwaukee m12 battery before I even fully unwrapped it.

Today I learned…

The 7” LED lights are a tad bit excessive.

Looks like a frog. Should paint your truck green... 😆
I wanted it in forest green, but NOOOOO. Ford would only use that color on the Splash, not the Tremor.
