Title says it all. I saw somebody a long time ago post a website that had some high quality rebuilds, but can't find it or remember it to save myself.

Getting ready to do power adder stuff on the 2011 and want to get fresh injectors, or a size bigger to go on it. Trying to avoid FleaBay on this one.

I believe @Shran knowa a guy...

Tbh, I'm not even sure bigger would be needed. Moddbox kit only throws 3-3.5 psi. Only reason I could see going to bigger would to be to tune it and run 89, but that would be it.

Not sure. I can punch the numbers and see what happens.

Do you have time to send them out? This guy does great work.

Funny story - i don't even know whose phone the screen shot is originally from. Somebody texted me that image a few years ago.

Mr Injector in Idaho is who I use. Great guy, I've sent in several sets of what I would consider junk and they come back looking and functioning like new.

If your going with the basic kit you don't need bigger injectors. At least I didn't. Of course the worn out charger I used never made more than about 2.5 psi but that was with a 5 psi pulley. Two days later something broke and its still waiting on me to figure out what.

......sad boost noises.

I’ve been running stock injectors with 3.5 psi pulley for almost a couple years now. No issues. Knock on wood.

I'll probably keep the stock size.... never intend on going over 3.5 psi, but I'm cheap, and may try to retune for 89 or 87, so moar fuel or moar injector may be needed. Not certain.

Now I'm nervous... when you say broke.... what did it do?

Yeah, 93 octane is pricey for something that gets a lot of miles.

I have been thinking about adding washer fluid injection so I can run 89.

Methanol is an eventuality for me as well. It did really well on the 2.9 - you just have to watch the oil.

I already have the completely useless tuner in the console (five star tunes for the SOHC don't do anything), so a retune at this point is cheap.
