Lower control arm bushings

Ok so I have spent probably an hour looking for a old forum but I don't see one. Maybe this is a new problem? Anyway, I need to replace basically the whole front end on my truck. 2wd/ torison bars. I found a front end kit on rockauto that seems pretty good and can't beat the price. Only extras I will have to buy is inner tie rods and lower control arm bushings. And I can not find the bushings anywhere. No auto parts store sells them, neither does rockauto. Well they sell a pair but they don't look right. 1 of them has a weird plastic piece on the end. Do I really have to buy a new control for each side? And since I'm here, is mevotech a good brand. I have seen good things about them.

What determines if a truck has torsion bars or not? I looked up a 2003 ranger 2wd front suspension and the diagram shows coil springs. I attached it.

I think whatever Mazda called the Edge equivalent. They ran both coil sprung and torsion bar 2WD for several years.

Torsion bars are a type of suspension. Bar goes from control arm to frame mount. Tighten a bolt, which moves the torsion key and then twist the bar to adjust the angle of the control arm.

I understand the different types of suspensions and how they work, but I didn't realize they ran both types during the same year, same truck. I punched in your truck and the coil spring type came up. Looks like you are going to have to wade through that when buying parts for it.

3069A, 3069B
you may have to use 2004 or 2005 as older years drop out of the system.

I apologize for the delayed response, life has been crazy. But I'm still having trouble finding them. When I Google the ones @pjtoledo said to look up. They come up for a 2020-2022 Ford. Or old cars, Thunderbird, comet, falcon, mustang.

The poly bushings come without shells; rather they slide into the existing bushing shells. This is not difficult if the lower control arms are out anyway. I bury the control arm in hot charcoal and the original rubber bushing liners burn away. Then I clean up the bushing shells and the poly bushings slide into place.

I have done several vehicles this way and find the suspension to be much tighter with poly bushings.

the 3069 and 3069A are the base numbers for the parts. they apply to any year (recent ones) so you have to get the year prefix.

I searched a local Ford dealer using the VIN for my 2005 to get the bushings.
also got it using the year/make/model

I think you just replace the control arm nowadays. New one comes with bushings. That's how it is on a few of my vehicles. for the F150 I have found the bushings or complete arm, both upper and lower.
