I have this 4x4 ranger frame that I’m in the process of building for my truck, I’ll have pictures here once the snow subsides, but the lower control arm bump stop BRACKETS, the parts that actually hold the rubber bump stops, are rotted out, Is there any way that they sell those frame pieces somewhere or am I just going to need a welding shop to fix them? The picture that’s attached is just for reference to the part, but not the actual condition of the ones on this separate frame.

I've seen repair pieces sold for the frame rails. I've never seen those sold separate. Probably be looking at having to them fabbed/repaired locally unless someone has a parts frame that they can remove them from. Unfortunately, I think trying to remove that in one piece would be a chore, but I haven't looked that closely at exactly where and how it is attached.

I understand that isn't THE frame, but does THE frame have that style of bumpstop installed? If so what year model is it? That's a fair bit different than the style installed on my 99 4x4 frame, and I think Dad's 2001 4x4 is the same as mine.

It’s a 2001 frame for mine but I think it’s late model 2001 with it having the same design as the 02-04 ish trucks

Probably gonna be a weld something up or find something good in a junkyard to cut out and swap. Never seen those pieces for sale but I’ve welded patches on them before.

I've not seen new replacements for those. You are either going to have to cut old good ones off a donor or have something fabricated.

Those things trap a lot of dirt and debris. Every Spring and Fall I'm cleaning junk out of them in other to keep them from rotting out from trapped moisture and the drain holes getting plugged.
