Rock Auto

Breathing California air causes cancer. Why don't they ban that? While at it, make cancer illegal. we can arrest cancer and take it to court. Idiot legislators think they can fix everything passing laws.

I'm proof the sun will give you a pretty good case of cancer... stupid sun.

and nobody is going to get cancer from an ignition coil unless it has a chemical in it and they break it open and lick it

Filtered coils are somewhat safer.

And, a true connoisseur prefers to lick coils while the engine is running. It's much more enlightening.

Shocking! I say Shocking!

I have bought thousands of dollars of parts from them and sometimes there is an error, but they always fixed it.

I bought a large part for my son's mini cooper that came in its own 18 wheeler. Amd it came damaged. I sent them pics and they sent another 18 wheeler with one part on it to my house. It was crazy for one part but it sure wasnt going in a usps van, ha ha ha.

I still check them first on anything i buy

My last order stuff came from 3 diff shippers. I wasn't real happy with that because it pushed up the ship cost somewhat, but, I have to say the notifications were excellent, they had links for each shipper in their updates and all the links worked and the stuff came when it was supposed to.

If you have issues write them you will get actual answer from a person. They gave me back the shipping on the mismatched drums no argument. Dicey because if you go thru the returns software it is asking you is it the same part# (yes) and if so basically they are saying we didn't make a mistake, but, in this case, even tho part#'s the same, parts were quite different. So relying totally on the web site can be frustrating but they do have actual people there who so far seem reasonable and responsive.

I'm cheap. I'm so tight I need a shoehorn to fart.

That is why I will start with parts that I really want and then choose others (If I can) that will ship with it, even if it's not a brand I would want (unless that brand is crappy, then all's off).

so... do you have a place for OEM headlights? I find them, but, out of stock

I think your only option for OEM is to, either be lucky and find a dealer somewhere that just happens to have one on the shelf, or try to find one in decent shape from a salvage yard, then clean it up. My drivers side was cracked and I was able to find a used one on Ebay that is in decent shape. Going to need to work over the lens though.

Maybe I try another shot at cleaning mine. They are just kind of yellowed, and if that's all the way through the plastic then no amount of polishing will remove it. They work fine I just thought it would look better and maybe work a little better with new ones but Gump says if they aren't OEM they might have lousy refectors so I've been holding off trying to find OEM. I can check with dealers, thanks. OEM are going to run about $2x knockoffs maybe even more.

The better headlight polishing kits give much better results (I like the Meguairs). Get the one with the drill attachment wheel and use on a right angle drill if you have one, makes it way easier and faster.

I have all the grits and I have 3M Glaze and Dupont #7 polishing
I guess they are providing discs you put on a drill so there must be a pad or something... think I have that too...
Maybe I didn't start aggressive enough though 500grit is pretty fine already but if you're powering thru it probably it takes off some material
it is a good price though for sure if it really works

I liked this guys methodology.
