The only laptops I see failing after only two years were factory shipped
with harddrives that I would only use to keep a table from wobbling
And OS crash or outright HDD failure is not cause to replace the notebook.
MAC people simply don't acknowledge that they represent 15% of the
market in the US, far less worldwide. and there are reasons for that....
I maintain two harddrives for my notebook, a clone I update monthly.
My desktop that sees far more use I update the clone weekly.

too much time wasted doing that. i plug in an external, click backup and it does auto backups by date. so i can look up info when i had it. i can go back over 6 months.
im sorry, but windows is slowly being pushed out. your right, were only 15%, but three years ago we were 4%. humans like new, not updated old.
