We get notified by the state but never got one on the Stang. Sure enough, state boy had someone pulled over so I switched lanes, made a couple of passes thru the car lots and what do I see waiting for me on the other side of the street? Yep, he noticed the little 3/4" x 1 1/4" sticker was the wrong color, meaning out of date. Like I said, he was sitting on the other side of the street so he had a good view of the front of the car. Pulled me over for the out of date registration but "never said a word about not having the required front plate". That little bit of plastic cost $160 for the fine and then $70 for the new one. Yes sir, yes sir, I'm in the wrong.

ours don't send notices anymore. no big deal tho.. i mean after having the truck for 7-8 years i kinda know that it expires in August. always go the first week of august and get it to. last day of the month you have to wait for like an hour to get a tag. first day- no wait!
