Ford Performance 2024 Ranger

Ford Performance ARB Ford Ranger

Ford Performance ORV Package

Ford used the SEMA Show to preview a new off-road upgrade package designed specifically for the next-generation 2024 Ford Ranger. Known as the Ford Performance ORV (Off-Road Vehicle) Package, the new setup targets overlanding enthusiasts looking for a turnkey solution to transform their Ranger into a more capable adventure truck.

The package will be available on 2024 Ranger XLT and Lariat models equipped with four-wheel drive and brings together factory-backed upgrades developed with the help of off-road equipment specialist ARB.

A Factory Overlanding Package

The Ranger Ford Performance ORV concept shown at SEMA demonstrates what a factory-supported overlanding build could look like. Rather than relying entirely on aftermarket modifications, Ford is developing a package that adds proven off-road equipment directly through its performance catalog.

At the heart of the ORV package is an ARB overland suspension system designed to improve ground clearance and off-road capability. The suspension is paired with heavy-duty ARB front and rear bumpers that improve approach and departure angles while adding integrated recovery points for trail use.

Additional underbody protection is provided by ARB skid plates, helping shield critical components when navigating rocky terrain.

Designed for Real-World Off-Roading

The Ranger ORV package goes beyond suspension upgrades by incorporating practical equipment aimed at overlanding and extended off-road travel.

Available accessories include:

  • ARB onboard air compressor
  • ARB SOLIS off-road lighting
  • 47-quart ARB refrigerator/freezer
  • ARB rock rail running boards
  • Bed and jack mounting hardware

These components are designed to support everything from tire inflation after airing down for the trails to extended off-grid camping trips.

SEMA Concept Build

The Ranger displayed at SEMA was based on a 2024 Ranger XLT SuperCrew 4×4 powered by Ford’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The engine produces approximately 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque and is paired with Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission.

The concept truck also features several styling upgrades from the Ford accessories catalog, including:

  • Ford Performance 18-inch ORV wheels
  • Ford Performance sill plates
  • Air Design tailgate applique
  • Air Design cab spoiler

The aggressive ARB bumpers give the truck a much more rugged appearance, while the added lighting and expedition equipment reinforce its purpose-built overlanding theme.

Part of Ford Performance’s New ORV Strategy

The Ranger ORV concept is part of a larger push by Ford Performance to introduce factory-backed off-road upgrade packages for its trucks and SUVs. These packages are intended to provide customers with turnkey off-road capability without needing to source and install aftermarket components on their own.

While the Ford Ranger Raptor remains the most extreme off-road Ranger in the lineup, the ORV package could provide a more affordable alternative for buyers who want enhanced capability without stepping up to the high-performance Raptor model.

Availability

Ford has not yet announced official pricing or final availability for the Ranger Ford Performance ORV package. However, the company has indicated that the components previewed on the concept truck are expected to become available for 2024 Ranger XLT and Lariat 4×4 models once the package content is finalized.

For Ranger owners interested in overlanding or serious trail use, the new ORV package could offer a convenient way to equip a truck with proven off-road gear straight from the factory.
