my dash is cracked

i have a 1990 ranger 2wd 2.3l 4 cylinder 5 speed, my dash has some cracks in it, how can i repair them and can i paint the dash after they are repaired and make it blend in?

There are many ways to redo or repair a dash. I have done fiberglass with some mods added in during the fix. The dash was for a Nissan 240SX and I added gauges. But I do not recommend it if you are afraid of fiberglass. Check my link below to see what I did . . . I don't think you have to register to see it, but too much listed to post here. It took a lot of work but was well worth it. Good luck

i might try that, i am very familiar with fiberglass, glazing putty, and body work so i could probably do a decent job, thanks

Dear born classics has a dash repair kit, I used it on my ranchero and it works awesome, and you can color match it so you'll never be able to tell

I went to the junkyard and found one in perfect condition...but I might look into changing the color some day...I think it's brown and I prefer blue...
