RCV customer service rocks too. Spent a good bit of time talking with them about individual parts

Nice. I'm sure I'd have to as well, since every single shaft in my front end, while some sort of OEM shaft, is from a different OEM housing (full size Ford short side inner, EB long side inner, Chevy outers).

Nice, I wish I had some rcvs. It's a tough choice though, rcvs or dana 60. Although 1000 won't pay for an axle, gears and locker.

I guess your weakest link now is your ring and pinion and your balljoints

Did a little body work on Saturday…
Pulled off the passenger fender for the first time since I put the snorkel together. So I took a few pictures of that setup since I destroyed my phone before I uploaded the build pics way back then.lol

I bolted up the new fender and clamped the the flare to it. Then I outlined it with tape and projected the arch a little further forward to compensate where I pushed the axle forward and since it moves forward when it stuffs anyway.
I ran another strip of tape 3/4" down from the outline to mark where I wanted to cut.

I made a pair of Vise Grips with plates tacked on to help make a nice radius on the lip.

I hacked off the arch and started bending the lip around. I softtened up the paint with a heat gun as I chased the lip around. It left a few dents and creases, but I dont really care.lol

I trimmed the the inner fender back and bolted it back using all existing holes in the fender support.

Made a template for the snorkel hole and trasfered that over to the new fender. I had to trim the inner support off too.

I had to hack a good bit off the lower fender support and cut the slider back 5-6".

New to me hubs showed up.

Threw the 300M 30 spline conversion in one just to see how it came apart.

Been trying random little springs from around the shop in the OX shifter since the PO lost it (reason it was cheap, because it "didn't shift right")

Turns out....OX has a kick ass website and the spring was only $2...so I bought some more stainless screws too since they were 14 cents...lol

I really want to get the rest of my fenders trimmed up, but my schedule is packed for the next 3-4 weeks...so it is just going to sit.

Started on the driver front fender. Not as pretty as the passenger was, but look at the truck.lol

Phone was dying so the pictures blow..
Mounted up my extra old 38.5 on my fancy aluminum M/T for a spare.

Scored yet another Warn premium for a spare. Brand freakin new 30 spline...even has orings on all the mounting bolts.

Fixed the brake hose I blew apart last trip. Ended up building a new one out of individual fittings for cheaper than a one piece...and got enough extras parts to keep on board for replacing the other two if needed.

Got side tracked on Saturday and ended up dropping this little fella into a buddy's car.

Parts for the B2 SAS project are trickling in...

Lockrite for the 44, chromos are in the mail, 99 Ranger cab is in the works..its going truggy soon.

Both fronts are done, looks like plenty of room for the new meats too..

Im going to see if I can get the bed popped out and reformed enough to accept a new tail light, then Ill start hacking the besides out. Not sure if I am going to bother with the lip back there since the sides are already toast.

I have my eye on some cheap street shoes (38x15.5 MT ATZs) to get this thing back on the road so I can take care of some things on the 150....Ill have everything except a flywheel for the 5 speed swap, and I have everything for the hydroboost setup except a few fittings and new brake hoses, so as soon as I get the last few pieces it will go under the knife.
