I'm looking into getting a '97 2.3L ranger and I would like to put a turbo on it. I've been doing research but still have questions. I need the truck to be reliable and still get good gas mileage. I planning on running low boost to help with reliability and mileage.
I would like to get the T3/T4 hybrid and exhaust manifold off a svo stang
I've read some conflicting information about the stock injectors, fuel pump, and mass air sensor. Can I get away with running the stock ones for now and upgrade them later?
As for the tune I already have a SCT x-3 tuner for my '02 4.0L would I be able to get a tune made and reflash with it?
Will I need to get a blow off valve and/or a waste gate?
Is there anything else I will need?
I'm trying to keep this as cheap as I can for now.
