Normal idle should be around 750-800.

Yours being low explains all the symptoms. Goose the gas, the brownout brightens up.

Fix the idle problem, quit chasing a symptom.

Also not really unusual for the lights to dim at idle when powering the windows.
Try doing it with the gas pedal pressed, increasing idle.
If improved, that confirms idle is low, NOTHING wrong with alternator/battery/charging system..

This all happens regardless of idle. Happens when I'm driving at 1500 rpms or at 500 rpms.

Did you clean the ground from engine to chassis it is usually a bare braided cable take them all apart and sand all surfaces. +1 on the idle 500rpm seems kinna low what does the book say. My lights on the cherokee flicker when the A/C clutch energizes. What does the guage do when you turn on the headlights. And do the turn signals make the guage jump around. If the battery takes and holds a good charge I wouldnt worry too much about it.

our ex's gauge is crap. its always moving b/c of something.. if they grounds are clean everywhere and you know the alternator is working fine, just don't worry about it. power windows pull a lot of power... you could get a bigger/deep cycle battery. but don't buy an oltima.. get a duralast gold. or an everyready marine from walmart that has like 720 cca and a resever load

Actual idle seems to b 700'ish. Gauge flickers when headlights r turned on. Turn signals do nothing. Headlights dim with use of power windows along with every other light. Radio does nothing.

There's a big ground wire on the inside kick panel. Gonna see if that's grounded right.
