My project started with an engine fire that destroyed a bunch of the wires that run across the 1992 4.0 engine bay. I am installing a HO 5.0 EFI with M5ODR2 trans and I'm a little puzzled by the CPP wires.
Looks like the pin out for the Mustang 88-91 harness shows a B/W wire going from the clutch switch to Pin #46 on the EEC (signal return). My Gy/R and LB/Y CPP switch wires are hanging loose in the engine bay since the fire. If I splice those three wires together, will the EEC think the clutch pedal is depressed?
Thanks for any help!
