So I've noticed that the dumbest phrase I ever heard in my life has stuck with me, even years later I remember the place and every word. So I'm kind of curious if everybody else is the same way, so post up your stories!


Here's mine. Back when I was in high school about six years ago I was in a study hall and there was this black kid trying to impress a girl and he says, word for word "My car is fast n' da furious"


So lets hear yours.
 
Autopsies are not to be performed on an out patient basis.
 
There's a garbage bin outside a gas station near me with a sign on that say's "c'est n'est pas un poubel" or to translate "this is not a garbage bin" , What the hell is it then?
 
I have been asked many times how do you convert liters to inches?. errr
 
bass dont live in trees.

I had a largemouth mounted. it was supposed to be resting in a piece of drift wood, attacking a minnow. so like 9 months after i dropped the bass and wood off at the guy, i picked it up and it was perfect. i brought it home and the first thing my wife said was why's it in a tree? bass dont live in trees.
 
"Nah, I didn't spend the extra money for those wheel weights, ya know? They're just a cash grab those things are, eh? Besides, 95% of new tires are new, so you don't need to balance them".

a friend of mine once tryed to trick me by saying, "Hey, did you know that auto shop in ---- is looking for someone to change sparkplugs on diesels"
 
This isn't the worst, but still notable. The manual for the video game "Gran Turismo" when I was a kid stated that "tires grip most when they slip just a little bit."
 
I told my wife once.

Honey you look finer than a new set of mud tires.

She then said, that is the stupidest thing I ever heard.
 
I keep hearing that the Colts are soft and finesse and should stick to needlepoint. You shouldn't rest starters. They have undersized linebackers; you should run straight at their undersized defensive ends; their quarterback chokes under pressure; their receivers can't catch passes if you bump them at the line of scrimmage. They pump in crowd noise.

Or it could be that Dwight the Fright is coming to eat your babies?
