Brakleen... lots and lot's of Brakleen first.well me too, since diferential is covered with oil. and oil and sparks really like each other haha!!
ohh so brake cleaner isnt gonna harm the diferential?(more than the fact im gonna weld it i guess not)Brakleen... lots and lot's of Brakleen first.
Then allow it to dry out thoroughly or it''l be just as bad lol
I posted up the nerf bark pics for you in my thread. Let me know if you need more brother.
Keep up the good fabbing
yeah sometimes my keyboard likes to move letters without letting me know tooHaha whoops. The K isn't even anywhere near the R or the S. Wtf was I doing
Yep when you use the Brake Cleaner use a lot of it and just give it a lot of time to drain out and even use and air compressor to force it out of the cracks and such. Prep work will make this job go a lot better.
ohh well carb cleaner it is!!!No, gear oil is it's own animal. 75W90 in the back of our Ranger's IIRC. You could also use carb cleaner too. It's always nice to find something pressurized that can blast into crevises and evaporates quick.
Yeah I don't want you to blow yourself up so if you have it in a garage where sh*t won't get in it; Clean it out well, hit it with the compressor and let it sit for a while. Just better safe than sorry.watch out welding around carb or brake cleaner...dried out or not...the fumes can really **** you up
