Finally going to bite the bullet and get this thing working. I've narrowed it down to two options:
The antenna will be mounted behind the cab on a toolbox.
The Wilson 1000,
Base mount, so the coil is under the roof
Removable coil base so i can use the car wash
No rear visibility problems
Won't block 3rd brake light
Signal will be partly blocked by cab
The Wilson 2000,
Mid Mount, 18" long 3/8" stand will put coil just over top of roof
Removability issues?
Shaft might block view, window seam does anyways?
Will partially block out 3rd brake light
leverage might bend up my nice new tool box or damage something else?
Signal completely unobstructed by cab
Thoughts? Experiences?
