:icon_twisted:

It could be nice to get an upgraded suspension and tires on a Ranger "Tremor"...

It's missing the classic off-road roll bar in the back, brush guard, and tubular rear bumper.

This package, coupled with the new 7.3L Gas V8, is going to be bad ass. The only way to make it more perfect would be adding a manual and selling it for 20k.

Needs chrome bumpers.

I don't care for how chrome looks but I don't think Ford has figured out how to successfuly paint a steel bumper for the long haul yet.

That new 7.3 is the selling point for me, but something tells me it'll have a starting price around $48-50K.

It is going to be bad, Ford got stupid with the last Tremor.

Too bad this theory can't trickle down to '150's and Rangers though. A 250/350 on a trail would be like trying to offroad a motorhome.

Your number sound a little low for something marketed as a special package.

Now that I look at Ford's "build your own" site admittedly it'll most likely start around 65K (between Platinum and Limited Trims) and go up from there.

The pricing is just crazy these days. Seen those commercials for a mahindra? Looks like a Jeep. Not street legal and starts at 16k

Yeah i seen them. But 10-12k will buy a REAL nice CJ5/7 that will do anything that will and still be legal to cruise up to mcdonalds in.

Im sorry but anything you consider a rock crawler or trail truck should not have a plastic front spoiler... the painted bumper is goofy enough. And wasn't the tremor originally a street truck package that just had a big stereo system?

I would probably be cheaper to just build your own.

They can be bought street legal in some states, and then transferred to your state as street legal. Lots of people are doing it. They also very capable offroad for what they are, and the aftermarket is adding more cool parts all the time. I'd LOVE to have one.

They're everything I've always wanted in a 4x4 daily. Manual trans, manual transfer case, small turbo diesel, simple suspension using leaf springs, etc..

I like what this guy has done with his.

i remember a few years back there was talk about mahindra bringing a compact truck to the u.s. im guessing they couldnt meet safty and or emmision standards but this one being meant for off-road useage was able to be imported. does look capable though. wonder if that diesel & trans could be transplanted into a ranger.......
