You know you own a Ranger when you go look at a used Ranger and the first thing you instantly do is to go look at the rear leaf spring hangers.

You know you own a Ranger when it turns into a family thing, with you, your dad and your Grandfather all owning Rangers at the same time.

There's truth in that, before me owning all 3 Rangers that we currently have my dad owned one and I owned one.

you know you own a ranger when you have 10 old LMC truck catalogs in you bathroom, but are too poor to buy anything from them.

When you take off from a stop and your driveline thunks.

When people ride with you they comment how hard it is to get in.

When you have to explain to someone that the 8.8 you are swapping in has 3 more splines and disc brakes, cuz they don't understand that they are very different axles.

When your door ajar light won't go off

When your headliner is wet around the 3 brake light.

When you have to explains bumpsteer to someone.

When you drive another truck and think to yourself, wow so that's what zero bumpsteer is like.

When you can be lifted 6", run 33" tires, be as aerodynamics as a brick an still get 340 miles on a tank.

When you have to replace the fuel filler neck to pass smog.

When you see another lifted Ranger and can appreciate the fact that that person had to grind off all the same rivets you did.

When wheel and people say that your truck is a animal cuz their stock Tacoma is still stuck on the curb you had to hop to get to the wheelin spot.

You know you own a ranger when you can change the fluid replace the window and drive it for another 2 years after this:

It was my stepdads ranger years ago, he rolled it, they towed it back to the shop changed the fluids and the windows and he drove it another 2 or 3 years before it got wrecked again by someone tboning them and it bent the frame in the 2nd wreck.

You know you own a Ranger when you have a love-hate relationship with it.

You know you own a Ranger wondering if your 4x4 is gunna work when you need it the most.
