why i said "3/4-1 ton Chevy's"...... he is tuggin' on a 1 ton....we pulled out a 3/4 ton ( when i say we, me and Rick had to hook together and anchor the rear of my truck to a tree to pull out the truck with my winch ) ...both were white ( and the 3/4 one had a tire off the bead to boot )

the bolt is grade 8...so it hold alot

yes the 4.88's be good.....and if ya gonna do lockers ( unless they are lunchbox ) i would wait and do the gears after ya got the lockers as well ( that way ya tear into the diffs just once )
