Thanks for the input guys. I think we've come to a decision. My buddy has a good solid 98 escort with a 5 spd I'm gonna get cheap, and we're just gonna dump the accord while it's still worth something.

Good choice. You don't want to keep throwing money at a problem that's going to keep resurfacing. The Escorts were pretty descent cars as well.
