I'm lost!! I just did my exhaust y-pipe to tip and once I finished, I thought I was done.. Took it for a drive and it was shifting weird. The vacuum modulator had fluid in it so I thought replacing would fix it. WRONG!! the damn thing won't shift out of 1st until 4k and is really sluggish afterwards.. Any ideas? All I did was change the dang exhaust pipe!! What couldn't happened?

Did you check the vacuum line to the modulator maybe it is plugged or disconnected. Check for vacuum at the tranny.

The rubber gets old and cracked especially around the exhaust.

Got It!!!!

It was the dang kickdown cable. Before I did the exhaust, the truck had terrible power, cause the y-pipe was split before the o2 sensor. So I went and did the kickdown and throttle cable "zip tie" fix. Seems there was one too many zip ties on the kickdown for the new set up. Now it does just fine.. Hope this helps everyone else see that just because a "mod" worked before a fix, that doesn't mean it will after.
