These are in my jeep and I'm pretty sure they are both limited slips but I am not positive which ones they are. I'm hope in someone here will know. The main reason I really need to know is so I know whether or not I need friction modifier in them. Thanks in advance!

My credo

will the vehicle specs on the driver's door post tell you how the Jeep is equipped? That round thing doesnt look like spider gears to me. But I'm no expert. If it is a viscous coupler , then I would guess that the lube would be the same as an open diff. However if that round thing has clutches in it, you need goop with a friction modifier. Google is your friend. How do you think I found this place? :D

It has a dana 30 up front, second pic and a dana 44 in the rear, first pic. The reason I suspect that it's not an open differential is because I had the front end jacked up and both wheels spun the same direction

Well those do not look like clutch-pack type units so they probably don't need friction modifier.

Second picture kinda looks like an Auburn locker to me.

How could I tell if it was a locker with out being able to drive it? ( the back brakes are shot and I'm waiting on parts.
