Trying to wire universal power windows to stock switches... 99 ranger https://imgur.com/gallery/AHTlg
1999 ford ranger xlt 4x4 everything manual. Hopefully not for long lol
There's pictures I posted. Got a universal window kit. Works great... Got the stock door trim pieces that house the switches from junk yard.. everything works great with power windows. I'm just wanting to wire to the sock switches. Different number of wires and what not... My universal kit switches have like backlit switches. Stocks don't. For bonus if anyone can help with what wires what for my truck for making my side mirrors powered by getting some powered mirrors off Amazon and fuse and power them up and hook up to my stock switch. Also to wire my lock and unlock with some universal actuators...

Just a guess....since I have done this on other vehicles...and plan on doing it to my 01.

The switches might be a different type of switch, like when you install an alarm(or when I used to back in the 90's..lol), you had to used relays to get the right voltage(pos vs. neg) for up and down...some switch pos and neg for up and down....same for locks...but again all this is just a guess. So you could fab up the aftermarket switches or just check continuity with a multimeter on the stock switches to see if they are "reversal voltage" or just "positive flip". If that makes any sense.
