Turbo Charged CRV

buddy of mine has an 03 Honda CRV and he wants to Turbo Charge it, now I know you can throw a turbo on just about anything, but I don't want him ruining his daily driver.

advice? knowhow? insight?

I would tell your buddy to go over to www.honda-tech.com and ask around.

Since a crv is built on a civic platform and it's powered by a k-series motor. I would say the easiest thing to do would be to buy a complete kit and just install it. Remember to have it tuned by a reputable tuner. If you can't find a kit for a crv buy for a similar civic and tweak it.

i have seen too many at the track to make snide remarks about them.


many many many guys running 11's in daily driver hondas that pull 36 mpg in street mode.

cant see a crv being any different....well weight...likely 13's before the drivetrains explode....but holy shit...13's
