Is the 94 tube header a direct bolt in for the older 8 plug head?To the exhaust pipe?O2 sensor?

The '94 was an 'older' 8-plug head.

being under a '94 this past weekend, the only difference I noticed between the header and the cast manifold on my '90 is the EGR, it looked like it was at a different angle, but didn't look at them close enough together to know for sure... the EGR system on the '94 is definetely different than the '90...

Sorry, maybe didn't make myself clear.I wanted to know if the tube header would fit on the eariler 8 plug head with the cast iron manifold without a lot of change,IE to the egr pipe,to the exhaust pipe.

sorry to bump this thread, but i have the same question.

i have a 1990 and need to replace the cracked (cast) exhaust manifold. will the later (tube) "header" style manifold bolt directly to my 1990??

thanks in advance.

It will defintly bolt to the block, and it may bolt to the rest of the exhaust or not, i dont know where it sits compared to how far the cast manifold goes to. If you grab one from a yard you can grab the EGR tube also in case it is slightly different.
