My BII isn't starting tonight, and I need some help to figure it out.
I turned the key and lost all power shortly only for the seatbelt buzzer to return meekly. I can get out of the car and fiddle with the battery wires and get it to return to full power, but if I turn the key to start it all dies again. The battery is good and I get 12 volts across the terminals of the solenoid. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check your connections at the solenoid. Last time mine did this the positive cable was working it's way off.

sounds like a bad battery ground to me, make shure the terminal is clean and tight, and check all the other grounds too if that dosent work.

make sure your negative wire is properly attached to your starter.

If all the connections are tight, check the voltage of the positive cable AT THE SOLENOID. When my ranger was doing this I was getting 12+ Volts at the battery, 7 Volts at the solenoid and the positive cable was getting hot. Changed the solenoid out and the problem was solved.
