Well I've added those who actually provided a city. Just have "Indy" in your profile is not really good enough for the map.

So as you know, the TRS Banner Across America is at a close. In 14-months it went from the Atlantic Ocean, to the Gulf of Mexico, and ended at the Pacific Ocean.

For 2012, I was thinking of a different challenge, but not sure if we have enough members in the right spots to pull it off.

I was thinking of going from the furthest place north in the US (Alaska) to the furthest place south in the US (Key West Florida). I'd like to start at the furthest point north in Alaska as possible, and then end in Key West Florida.

I don't care which path it takes. I don't care if it goes all the way across Canada. I just care that it completes the journey. That meens you can't send it a direction unless you know there are people willing to participate so it doesn't get stuck anywhere.

I would have to make a new banner and figure out who to send it to in the spring to get started.

It would be nice to try and pull this off in 12-months or less.

This is a feeler thread to see if and who would be interested.
If you want the farthest north in AK as possible.. I can drive up to Fairbanks, and start from there. Fairbanks to Anchorage, Homer (although if we went to Homer we'd have to go back up to Anchorage and then over to Canada.) Dawson, Whitehorse Yukon areas. I know those highways pretty well.

Lilly has been around Alaska quite a bit. 315K miles *hint hint* :D

Not unless you wanna do the Arctic Circle drive up the Haul road to Cold foot, then back down to FBK, then ANC, then we'd have to go back up and over to Whitehorse (WOOOO PARTY IN CANADA!) (I <3 countries with lower drinking ages!), then down to Wash. I don't mind the drive. I've been up and down the Parks Highways more than a million times. 367 miles of open mountain roads! LOVE IT!

it goes all the way across Canada
well said! we missed the last one ENTIRELY :(

remember, just because you're the boss man doesn't mean that you can't be quoted out of context ;)

im in. if it gets to edmonton by june time, it can be driven to ontario, then i can head south with it to adsm08 or someone. we need something to get to ontario, nothing has as of yet! i dont mind a 5 or so hour drive.
don't you think about missing us down here in calgary or the boys in van!

If this needs a ride across the northern BC interior, I'm in. Hyder Alaska to Prince George BC would work well for me.
actually, this might work... a good trip would be around the northern areas, get to mike, gwaii, original ranger, lima, samsquanch, and what ever other members are up in that area.... down to vancouver, from van to the okanagan, there's a member in... kelowna? i think, then to k.strong, masterhec0 and myself (i think i'm forgetting another active member from here though, gotta check my pm's...) then to whalstrom and the other red deer/edmonton boys! from there 06 can take it east to the CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE!

from there it can get to pa? was it? and indirectly to florida...

i'm sure the vancouver bc members can meet up with the washington group and do a hands across the border ceremony...

oh, i should mention i am into this so hard it hurts! and i am more than willing to do 10+ hours of driving each way to get this thing where it needs to go!
