For 2023 we will be heading to the Land Between The Lakes in Kentucky instead of Indiana for our fall gathering.

We've decided to stick to our regular weekend which is the first weekend after Labor Day, but this year I'm going to make the dates Thursday September 7th thru Sunday September 10th.
I'm calling this an adventure because it won't be solely off-roading. This is a beautiful are where people can explore, boat, and camp. People also enjoy the authentic experiences provided by Woodlands Nature Station, Elk & Bison Prairie, Homeplace 1850s Working Farm, and Golden Pond Planetarium and Observatory.
There is also an off-road area there called the Turkey Bay Off Highway Vehicle Area.

I would encourage people to come out and enjoy the weekend and the area, even if you're not an off-roader or don't own a 4x4.
I'm looking for a restaurant where we could have a cruise in on Sunday. This way the off-road group and non-offroad group can come together.
I want to get this out there so people can plan for the date. I'll update with more information as necessary.
Where: Land Between The Lakes - Kentucky
When: September 7th - 10th, 2023
We will be camping at Prizer Point KOA,
1777 Prizer Point Road, Cadiz, KY, 42211. Our group reservation is for Primitive tent camping. But you can reserve sites in other areas if you want. We will get a 15% discount.
CALL 1-270-522-3752 then choose #2 for reservations. Tell them you are with “The Ranger Station”.
Their online reservation system does NOT have provisions to attach you to our group reservation and get you the discount. So, make your reservation by phone.
SCAVENGER HUNT!!! There will be a scavenger hunt this year. EricBPhoto is putting together a list of things that will help you explore the LBL area. More details at the event. Many of the check items will be photos of you or your RBV at different locations. So make sure you have your phone ready or some other camera with a display so you can show your photos and prove you found the place. There will be a trophy for first prize. There May also be other prizes involved. The hunt will end at 4:00pm on Saturday. With prize(s) awarded at the campfire Saturday night. This scavenger hunt will be accessible to all RBVs. One location may require high ground clearance. Most of it on paved roads. But it will be points based.
