The wipers died a while ago and being in S. California, you can get away with this but I've got to get around to getting this fixed.
I disconnected the connector and checked the signals to it. It appears to be same as on my Mom's working '99 Explorer so I figure the switch is working. Was planning on troubleshooting further by removing the motor and plugging it into a working vehicle. But.... the repair manual says to turn on wipers and turn off when in vertical position to disconnect the linkage. So that's just not going to happen. Anyway to work around this?
Much thanks, Scott
