I want one so bad but all the ones I find aren't worth it. They are either asking almost 3K firm for an 87 with all the options I don't want, or I find one for less than a grand and it's been wrecked/has no title/body is rusted to crap.

I just found my 2nd one, Its sittin in the front yard waitin on a title. As soon as I get it in my name, the 4.0 from my beat up ranger is going in it.

The body is great, has manual windows and t case. Has one bad fender and the grill is jacked up. Lookin for a donor gen 1 grill. Wanna do something like Copykats. I think that looks sweet.

Copycat has the round headlights right? I like that look I found a 69? grill locally for like 60$ that i was gonna buy and try to incorporate into the front end but know that im going with the X I didnt buy it.

Yup that's copykats, petesponies put an EB grill on his gen 1. It looks good but I like the other better.

I haven't had any real problems out of my t-case's after some hard wheelin. My wheelin' rig has a 5-speed so I don't know how the auto will hold up with the 35s and rough stuff. I had a Ranger on 33s with an auto but I mainly drove that to work. Did alright but I always ran it in drive instead of OD. My DD is stock with an auto and it seems ok so far. The guy I got it from said it's rebuilt and a couple years old but I've heard a few horror stories about the autos. Put in the cooler, be gentle on it, it should last you a couple days lol.
