I just replaced all of my ball joints and I have yet to get an alignment. When the front of the truck is lifted off the ground there is no up-down and side to side movement. But since tie rods are pretty cheap ill replace them before I get it aligned. My question is should I replace the inner tie rods also? Do the actually wear out?

Also after replacing the ball joints the truck got death wobble after hitting a big bump on the highway. Can this be happening just because my alignment is out?

Try to compress the shaft into the joint. If there is any give the tierod is bad. The tie rod is ment to rotate freely in its socket but not move in and out at ALL. Over the normal course of life you will get wear in the joint that will allow it to move in and out.
