hey guys,

i have a 99 4.0 ranger. volant cai, underdog performance wires, superchips cortex programmer, and a gibson catback. i was thinking about getting some headers but i wanted to see if they are worth it. i looked in some threads but theres abunch of mixed opinions. would it increase mpg's? i know the exhaust flow will go from aftermarket--->stock--->aftermarket. any feedback is appreciated.

thanks

i have a 97 with a 4.0L and i got pace setter's, love them. if you go to autopartswarehouse.com its the same price as you could on cheaply. ( i ordered some from e-bay and got jacked $250) 30 days later pay pal paid me back. IMO all the specs are the same as the $500 sets and you get a down pipe and y pipe for the same price.

I saw a pair of pacesetter headers on ebay for 145. I'm considering getting them as well for the next Ranger
