ok guys thought i would start a project thread since i am going to be restoring this truck basically heres what im working with

Problems that need attention as of now

4x4 doesn't work?
cracked windshield
saggy front end
Lisnce plate lights don't work
and today the antilock rear and parking brake started flashing

Looks like a good foundation, I see a new bed in its future too - is this your daily driver? How far into it are you going, full resto or just what it needs to make her sexy again.

as of right now its a DD so its just going to be a "bringin sexy back" restroe maybe a future frame off but not in the works as of yet i wanna get all the little stuff fixed, body, suspension, then prolly find some nice rim/tire combo, lift her and put her to work

some buddies have determined that the sag in the front is due to back springs.....so how do we take care of bad springs gentlemen?

we put it 3 inches higher

That thing looks like it's rusted out pretty good. I'd wheel it and I don't think I'd bother fixing things that don't absolutely need it...like the rust.

How much did you pick it up for, if you don't mind me asking?

500 bucks and the underside acually isn't that bad
