Stutter, on rare occasions it seems like one piston doesn’t fire.

Hi, an issue that troubles me, intermittent, rare occasion. I’m driving down the road and it seems like the truck stutters for a microsecond. I always imagine it’s because one piston hasn’t fired. I absolutely have no idea what this is or even how to describe it. I can’t guess if it’s electronic or if it’s mechanical, a injector. I just replaced the fuel filter, but haven’t taken it out on the road to test but even in that case this happens on such rare occasions, I don’t know if it would show. It does seem like it’s happening more frequently now though. It’s increasing in occurrence. It’s freaking me out.

If its that rare, its probably not a dead cylinder.

Dead cylinders are...well...dead and dont spring in and out of living.

That sounds like a possible injector, bad plug, or wire.
