I connect up all the vacuum lines and I get a P0401...

I pull the vac line for the EVAP, reset the CEL, and P0104 goes away...

WTF?:icon_confused:

I've been fighting that egr flow code all summer long. first it was a busted egr tube, then a bad sensor, so on, so on...basically rebuilt the whole egr system soup to nuts and still had the 0401. i was trying some things again this past week, forgot that i left the vac line for the EVAP system off and drove the truck 120miles city and highway last night and it ran like a raped ape. 60 miles to my destination, i remembered, hooked it back up, 5 miles later the CEL comes on. pulled over, yanked it, capped the port, cleared the CEL and went on my merry way back home with no incident. :icon_confused:

how on earth does connecting the EVAP vac line throw an insufficient EGR flow code. :shok:

add to the validity of this; the butt dyno is telling me something when the CEL is gone, it runs considerably better, so i don't know what to think at this point.
