:icon_confused:is there a companys that makes a spindle that will lift a 2007 2wd like 1.5 to 2 inches? all the companys make spindles with like 3" to 3.5" of lift.. too high for my tastes..

i wud like the truck's front end to sit level or just a touch higher than the rear and i want to leave the rear at stock height. and run some 30-9.5-15 bf goodies

Not to my knowledge. You could try coil spacers though, if you have a coil spring front end. You could and 1" or 2" out of those.

No company makes a lift spindle for less than 3" of lift, if you want 1.5" to 2" of lift you should go with coil spacers or lift coils but if you don't have coils do a torsion bar crank

you will lose a chunk of your down travel. this makes the front end skip off the ground quicker.thats why in some trucks w/ the T bar cranked to max a speed bump feels like crater. And the escort in front of you flew over it all smooth.

Coil spring truck same thing, longer coil/spacers have the same effect as cranking the tbars.

if you do have a T bar truck go crank them up small amounts at a time and see if you can find a happy medium to your taste....just beware this will throw your alignment out of wack. alittle common wrench sense applies here.

or your could always go stadium truck look. drop the rear down to match the front.Open up the wheel wells for the tires

What? The spacers do make it stiff but they don't take any travel from your suspension, they just push the coil up and the control arms down giving you the desired lift, I would personally go with lift coils rather than spacers

with 100% stock suspention putting a coil spacer or stiffer/longer spring or cranking the T bars you are going to lose down travel.

think of it like this.....

you have 10inches of travel, bump to bump.

factory ride hight you have 6 inches bump travel and 4inches droop sitting at ride hight.

now you twist up the T-bars 2inches,add a spacer for 2inches,a longer stiffer coil spring for 2 inches of increased ride height.(lift)

now you have pushed the arms down/the chassie up ,2inches in the travel range to make the increased ride height.

so now you have 8 inches of bump travel and 2inches of droop.

so you lose droop/down travel. True you dont lose any "over all travel" but you do lose "droop/down travel.

The loss between the spacers and the tbar crank are completly diff, when cranking tbars your maxing out your downward travel when using spacers your just adding to the a-arms so you might lose 1/32 of uncompressed coil lenght but you still have all the downward travel the spring has to offer your actually loosing the upward travel due to the spring being compressed a tad, I have 2" coils on my truck and haven't lost any travel so I don't know why you would think you would lose travel with a stiffer spring

i completely agree with this.. same concept at setting the sag on a dirtbike rear shock. its all about where the vehicle rests in its travel. if ur at near the top of ur stroke hitting a big dip wud feel fine but a small drop or hole in the road wud feel like shit cause ur maxing out ur ball joints and what ever else limits travel.
by the way i have a coil sprung truck. i already have taken out leaves in the rear and the truck sits perfectly level when unloaded. 5 days outta the week i have the truck loaded with my dirtbike and gear and it squats pretty bad. i still never bottom tho(runnin 2 long leaves and the over load leaf)

Go with the lift coils you'll be happy with them, and they do not limit travel, they provide more

Sound's like you understand..........

to get your load cap. back (since you haul 80% of the time)you might want to put your springs back in and flip the shackle. that will lower the truck a couple inches in the rear. and if its a inch or so low ,you could add a long add a leaf. just watch the shocks and bump stop clearance.

simplist no "oh shits later" route would be to just grab a spindle lift kit if you can deal with extra lift.and you would keep your plushy factory ride.

when you crank your tosrion bars your screwing with your alignment and the normak wear of the tires its not a good lift idea

When you do any type of lift it screws with your alignment and tire wear that's why you go and get it realigned to correct the problem, cranking your torsion bars isn't bad unless you crack them all the way, if you only go about 2" max then you will be fine and you might not even have to get it aligned
