Been lurking around a bit, finally got time to do my swaps, ill probly be posting questions.....

Plan is 4.0L drivetrain from 92 ranger in to 90 b2. Besides the b2 being an auto and ranger a manual, and fuel lines this should be pretty straight forward correct?

After that jazz I plan on purchasing a 5"-6" lift from duff for my 88 ranger. My ranger will receive '00 explorer rear 8.8 and the D35 from the 92R. I understand the fab work required for 8.8 just not sure yet about the brakes e.i. proportioning valve, MC. :icon_confused:

And thank you all in advance.

Sounds like you're on the right track. Parts like the clutch pedal assy should swap from the '92 to the '90 no problem. :icon_thumby:

If your '88 has the rear antilock brakes, it's original MC should be fine with an Ex 8.8".
