Slave or master?

pedal has to be pushed to the floor to shift into gear clutch engages about 1/2" - 1" from floor. bled system out of vechicle reinstalled master/res/lines and performed a gravity bleed. thinking the Slave is bad but was wondering if anyone had any insight

No, it sounds like there's still a little air in the system (a bad slave is almost always a leaky slave). Are you able to drive it and shift OK? If so, that tiny amount of air may bleed itself out on it's own after a bit. If not, then you'll have to bench bleed the master better (or try real forcibly bleeding it by rapidly stomping on the pedal to pump it. This has worked for me anyways).

welp we went out and got a new clutch line as his fitting going into the slave is alittle tweaked not leaking tho. Tried mashing the pedal and driving on it never improved atleast befor the new clutch kit we put in. Hopefully the new line will clear up the problem but haven't had a chance to put it on the truck yet.
