Honestly, and no offense here, but with all that rust on that truck, it ain't worth trying to fix it up. its going to turn into a giant money pit, and the money won't go towards anything, because you'll always be fixing something... Just keep it for a parts truck, and don't spend any money trying to make it driveable.

maybe it will actually reverse rust, and build more metal?.... crazy stuff happens in california
