My 2000 Explorer Sport has lost its tension on the seat belt... It wont retract, it tries but there is not enough tension. it just hangs there and always falls out of the door.. Is there an easy fix? or do i need a NEW seat belt???

thanks

the spool is probably all plugged up with hair and carpet fuzz. start tearing off interior panels until you get to the tensioner assembly and clean it up, then spray it with your favorite spray lube.

if that doesnt work then you'll need to replace it (i highly recommend AGAINST cracking the tensioner open).
