A 350 already has the rear sump pan that doesnt mess with the crossmember. Why spend more then you need to?

Better then putting do...dod.....*cough*dodge*cough* power under the hood.

Plus look at it this away, When you smoke them Shitrolet powered POS's you can laugh and point your finger at them. :icon_rofl: I know that I will as my Ranger can.:icon_hornsup:

I think cost is a moot point at this level. Be it a 350 or 302 its not exactly a bolt in swap.

Now somebody drop in a 460 with a roots blower in a Ranger, please? :icon_surprised:

well i think it's time for an update. I had the truck running for about five minutes, trying to break the cam in, and the carb decided to start spraying gas everywhere.:pissedoff: Then my buddy tries to clean the gas up with brake kleen :pissedoff:. There goes my nice paint job.:pissedoff: But I rebuilt the carb, re-painted injured paint, and found another problem with one of the fuel bowls:pissedoff:. It's all rebuilt, runs good, but still leaks a little gas from the primary fuel bowl:pissedoff:. so if anybody has a primary fuel bowl out there, that they wanna get rid of, let me know. Other than that, progress is going good. One more question, does anybody know how many splines are on the stock steering box? I need to get an aftermarket steering u joint, but i forgot to count the splines this morning before I left the house.
