I have a 1994 Ranger & have replaced all brake/taillights bulbs, turn signal flasher & brake pedal switch but still nothing is allowing the hazard's or right blinker to continue to flash when brake pedal is applied. I also noticed that when right blinker or hazards are on that the tail lights flash both sides even when only right blinker is on. This just started after I installed a new clutch kit & clutch master/ slave cylinder kit.

Seems weird but I have never had any electrical issues with the truck since I bought it used in 2007.

The only bulb I haven't replaced or checked yet is the right rear signal which is separate from brake/tail light system. It should be a 3156 as in single filament, going to double check that now. it is a 3156 & works fine even double checked it in Reverse plug.

Any one have this problem before or know what the issue might be???

Does it have trailer wiring? sometimes people use those stupid blue splice things that pierce the wires... not usually a problem in this area as my Ranger has that in it somewhere and it works fine, but it can be a problem...

Found the issue to be the HOPKINS towing wiring kit #40215. This kit is a plug in kit that uses factory connections & is stated to be weatherproof yet the T connection is 3 separate pcs that are not sealed
