How do you remove the antenna from from the top of my cab?

I would expect it being from the inside but there is really no telling how they may have done it. You need to look it over real good and figure that out.
One screw on cap might be the answer to that entire equation

If's its Factory then it will be screwed on so you will have to pull down headliner
And there will be 3 holes, 2 screw/stud and one cable hole

Maybe go to a wrecking yard and see if there are any Rangers or Fords that have the similar antenna with bad headliner so you can see whats required :)

yes it's factory and I'm just spraying some clear on top as the original is started to check. Thought it would be a cleaner job without that piece in the way and I don't use it anyway. Thanks
