So this weekend i plan on swapping out my stock leafs for explorer ones. It looks like i might be able to eliminate the lift blocks and just run the leafs. My stock leafs are shot and sag a lot. Just want to make sure ill be ok without the blocks with regards to the bump stops still doing their thing with the extra room between the contact points and the stops.

Thanks

You will be fine without the lift blocks. Have you considered the shorter u-bolts that youll need for running without the blocks? You'll need u-bolts for a standard 2wd, the ones from the Explorer are for a too large diameter axle tube.

Ok thanks. I do know about the bolts, once i get the springs in i'm going to see whether or not i will keep the blocks then get the u bolts. Got a shop a block from my house that can get them custom made and and ready for the next day.
