On my 98 ranger i have been having a problem with my brakes. when i put the E brake on then try to release it the brakes stay engauged. It takes a while for them to release. it rolls back fine but when you try to move forward it sticks. I have tried to roll in reverse and slam on the brake to adjust them but it doesnt do anything. does anyone have ideas on what it could be.

bad E-brake cable more than likely. i've never had the E-brake work right on any of my trucks, same goes for my friends too. i just never use it. i carry a small 4x4 peice of wood for my E-brake. :icon_twisted: lol
