As the title says I got some emblems off a gen 1 ranger today off the bed by the tail light. I don't know if they say this ranger is a special edition of some kind. They are made of metal.

Location the ranger...

Both of them...

Anybody have any information on them I think they would make a great belt buckle if anything.

It looks like a State...with the Red White and Blue at the bottom...and it actually looks like Indiana...so probably a home build or off something else...

Yeah that seems like Indiana and that symbol on top is on their flag. I think they are neat, I'd polish them up and put on on.

Yes that's indiana...where I live.

I'm told others have seen them before but no exfoliation as to what they mean. They did have the same black adhesive backing that everything else Ford use a to put emblems on their vehicles, got a 5.0 badge off a.mustang today with the same stuff on the back, which will be going on the tailgate.

They don't fit the look of my truck

I think the word you wanted was "exposition".

I thought it was "explanation" but...seeing as he was posting from his phone...maybe the word substitution kicked in...

Either that or some dangerous agent orange or purple was coming down...

I figured he was trying to be fancy. Exposition can be used in place of explanation.

Either way exfoliation is not the right word. That is removing dead skin cells.

Please don't destroy these. If you're turning one in to a belt buckle, I'll take the other one off your hands and restore it. I like rare Ranger stuff and try to preserve it. Hell, some day I'd like to have my own little Ranger museum.

Yup dealer add on, this was real popular in the 50's almost every car could have them put on by request, kind of like the metal fancy lic. plate frames, I have some from a dealer in montana, and in washington one came off a 50's plymouth the other off of a 90's f150

I think we can work something out, barter maybe. I don't want money, never been into things for the money.

As far a dealer option, it's about as common as finding the factory option air socks for using a snow plow on these trucks.

Ok. What about something like a windshield banner?
