Thanks man! Yeah these trucks are addicting once you tear into them. The stock steering works ok for now but I plan on doing x-over steering soon.
Tell me about it, I'm hooked already. Do you run a drop pitman arm? I am a little worried about the extra leverage it will have on the steering box. Not sure if I should do a drop pitman arm and do something to brace the box itself or live with the stock until I can do a setup like the x-over. I figure as hard as you run your truck if you never had a problem it is definitely nothing for me to worry about. That track looks fun. I would love to see the onboard video.

Thanks man, yeah it was a pretty fun little course to hit. Probably could have gone faster but I was still getting used to that style of driving.

1st run-48 sec.
2nd run- 43 sec.
3rd run-40 sec
4th run 38 sec

I know I could have shaved off more time if I got to keep going. Winner was 32 sec. In a Trophy Truck.

hey man, can i get some specs on your friends red ranger? I have a very similar truck, and am mid build.
Its a 97 with 5.0 v8 and auto, newer front clip, McNeil 4'' over beams, deaver springs, and a 9" with 4.88s and detroit locker.
